My name is Catherine and I live in Cambridge where I have been teaching legal English since 1999. I am equally happy teaching lawyers or law students who are looking forward to finding their first job in the legal profession. 

I have developed many useful study materials in legal English all the way from A1 level through to C2 level. Whatever your level of English I can help you learn new and useful legal vocabulary right from your very first lesson. 

I believe that legal English should be practical and useful in preparing you for work in the modern legal office and my specialist subject is the English that you need to negotiate and draft commercial contracts.

I was one of the teachers who founded the TOLES exams in legal English back in the year 2000 so I am very comfortable preparing learners for a TOLES exam at any level of ability.

I am also happy to accept business English students and would enjoy working with any learner to help them with speaking and listening practice.

I live here in Cambridge with my two rescue dogs Layla and Sunny and when I am not out walking them I love reading and I am a Netflix addict who is trying to find time to write her first novel.
